Back to Team

A native of Queens, Celina grew up in the New York City dance halls of the late 90’s, where she was blown away by the performative creativity on display in club battles and impromptu runways. She was a founding member of the experimental theater series at St. John’s University, where she wrote her Master’s thesis on critical responsibility in literary theory and performance art. A¬†lifelong lover of the arts, Celina has worked as a contributing theater and dance writer at the Oregonian and volunteered for numerous arts organizations in Portland Oregon, where she lives with her husband and two feisty and independent toddler daughters. Celina is an accountant, and in her free time she enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, and distance running in the rainy and beautiful Pacific¬†Northwest.
