This series fuses jazz and industry-style choreography—pushing dancers to explore artistry while strengthening their bodies and stage presence. We’ll dive into the performance side of dance—learning how to connect with the audience/camera\, build improvisation skills\, and develop self-confidence both on and off the floor. You’ll also work on self-motivation and body awareness through technique\, conditioning\, and guided freestyle. \nThis class is built for teens (12+) and adults\, at an intermediate level\, but all dancers—no matter your background or experience—are encouraged to join. Every session will leave you sweating\, inspired\, and more in tune with your power. \nThis workshop is part of a community-based project\, A Garden of Doors\, to bring accessible arts programming to Las Adelitas residents and the community\, nurturing local talent and celebrating diverse stories. This piece merges music\, movement\, image and architecture in a provocative transformation of place and community. Guests are invited to enjoy wine and snacks in a relaxed\, salon-style environment that encourages creative conversation with the artists.
