Rush Hour (2019) was an interdisciplinary dance project, in which an assemblage of cars and trucks provided the setting for a collection of narratives about human relationships and identities. Each story was told in, on or around a mode of transportation. The event took place at the Marine Artists Studios Northwest.
Curated by Heidi Duckler Dance/Northwest with performances choreographed by Heidi Duckler, Carla Mann, Mizu Desierto, Rayawnie Paris, Conrad Kaczor, Jennifer Wright, Kya Bliss, Snubb, Nicholas Petrich, Holland Andrews, Kelly Nesbitt, Lolo Halman and Reed Wallsmith. Performances revolved around different stationary vehicles, including vintage horse trailers, motorcycles, cars and bicycles located in the Marine Artists Studios Northwest parking lot.
