“Memory” was created in an artistic movement workshop with Heidi Duckler and Pacific Northwest College of Art students Julia Goetz and Crimson Ravarra as they explored Lee Kelly’s eponymous sculpture on campus. The workshop’s focus was directed by how movement can be influenced by the surrounding landscape and how a physical vocabulary can be developed, helping us to understand ways in which the body can interact with an object and engage a narrative.
