Let’s Screen Dance
Heidi Duckler Dance Northwest is excited to announce the launch of Let’s Screen Dance, a groundbreaking dance film festival featuring a screening of works by independent filmmakers. We are seeking submissions from artists who are exploring the intersection of film and dance. Whether you’re creating narrative shorts, documentaries, live performance captures, or experimental installations, we want to see your creative vision brought to life on screen. We welcome all styles of dance and encourage diverse, innovative approaches to the art form. Our curatorial team will carefully review each submission, prioritizing cinematic quality and the unique ways dance is expressed through film.
If selected, your work will be featured in the festival’s inaugural (free) screening at My Voice Music 8911 SE Stark on February 7th from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM. Filmmakers whose works are accepted will be notified via email will receive further information about the screening and additional festival opportunities.
The festival provides a platform for young filmmakers to showcase their talent and gain exposure, recognition, and support for their artistic endeavors.
