Meet Raziah Roushan! Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre/Northwest/Northwest’s new Managing Director. Raziah joins HDDT/NW from a long line of art administration, including being the Grant Writer and Art Studio Manager for New Village Art Theatre, Chalk Artist Committee Chair for Art Splash, Board Member and Program Director for the San Marcos Arts Council, and Director of Marketing with Oceanside Museum of Art in San Diego, California.
She moved to Oregon in the spring of 2015 to be with her fiance. As an Oregon resident, she is now a Commissioner with the Beaverton Art Commission, a volunteer with Portland’s Regional Art & Culture Council, and the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest. On top of Raziah’s constant enthusiasm for being involved in the community, she has owned and operated her own business Raziah Roushan, Artist for more than 17 years. As a professional fine artist she is constantly working in the studio on new exhibitions, designs for murals, and meeting with clients across the country. Raziah holds a Bachelors in Fine Art from the Pacific Northwest College of Art (2004) and a Masters in Art Administration from the Savannah College of Art & Design (2012). She is delighted to be the newest member of the HDDT/NW team.
