Storytelling Workshops with Rachel Attias
July 11 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free
Join writer and storyteller Rachel Attias for a hands-on workshop designed to empower and uplift the voices of Las Adelitas residents and the community through storytelling and creative writing. First workshop of the series begins Friday, July 11th. If you are curious to express your inner voice, this inclusive and welcoming session is for you. Together, we’ll explore the art of personal narrative; how our experiences, memories, and cultures shape stories worth sharing. Participants will have the opportunity to write, share, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
This workshop is part of an ongoing community-based project, A Garden of Doors, to bring accessible arts programming to Las Adelitas residents and the community, nurturing local talent and celebrating diverse stories.
