February 27, 2022 – PLACE Studio, Portland, OR – This is the PLACE! was an all day event featuring live performances, screenings of new films, and a photography exhibit by Cristal Tappan. Audiences enjoyed indigenous music of Latin America, learned to Tut, created a Tibetan sand mandala and dance on film.
The audience witnessed works by Carla Mann, Conrad Kaczor, Freddy Vilches, Jennifer Wright and Laura Cannon, and two different Heidi Duckler Dance/Northwest performances one featuring Nicholas Petrovich and Viktor Usov, and one featuring Barbara Lima.
