By August 14, 2023No Comments

Our artists profile series is a dynamic initiative that seeks to celebrate the talents and narratives of artists within our vibrant Pacific Northwest community. In this project, we aim to provide a platform where diverse voices can be heard, shining a spotlight on the unique journeys, inspirations, and contributions of individuals who have made a mark. Through the interviews, we delve into the artistic journeys of our participants, exploring their experiences, creative processes, and how they’ve enriched our community. These artist profiles not only highlight their incredible work, but also create new opportunities for collaboration and connection with Heidi Duckler Dance!

ABOUT TONY: Tony, originally from Boise, Idaho, began their dance training around age nine. Tony started in the world of hip-hop and eventually made their way into the world of classical ballet where they trained for nearly a decade. They attended trainee programs and apprenticeships all around the country. Shortly after graduating high school, Tony accepted a company position as a soloist with a contemporary ballet company in Idaho while also participating in company works with a variety of other award-winning dance organizations in the area and abroad.

Tony continued to dance professionally in Idaho, Seattle, and San Francisco, working as a ballet dancer and contemporary artist. Now based out of Portland, Oregon, Tony continues to add to their professional portfolio and is currently working their way into the commercial world.
